Corporate Cake Off: A Team-Building Experience with a Twist
Because the best teams rise together — just like great cakes.
At Khalid’s Kakes, we believe teamwork should be as rewarding as it is enjoyable. Our Corporate Cake Off is a hands-on, laughter-filled experience designed to bring your team closer through creativity, collaboration, and a sprinkle of friendly competition.
Forget trust falls — this is where strategy meets buttercream.
What to Expect
Your team will be divided into groups of two or three, each challenged to replicate one of our signature cakes under timed conditions. It’s not just about baking — it’s about communication, coordination, and creative problem-solving.
Armed with tools, ingredients, and a set of instructions, your colleagues will navigate the process of:
Stacking, filling, and buttercreaming
Applying fondant with finesse
Perfecting those final decorative touches
But here’s the twist: our expert instructor will only step in at a cost — 10 minutes off your total time! This means every decision counts and teamwork becomes your greatest ingredient.
The Competition
After 4 hours of mixing, frosting, and laughter, each team’s creation will be judged on presentation, creativity, and teamwork.
The winning team takes home a custom Khalid’s Kakes trophy — and bragging rights that will last long after the last crumb is gone.
To keep the spirit alive, all winners are added to our Corporate Leaderboard, showcasing your company’s achievement and letting you compete virtually against other organisations who’ve taken part.
The Experience
While you bake, we’ll keep the energy flowing with light refreshments — think freshly brewed coffee, tea, and snacks to keep your creative juices going. The event runs for approximately 4 hours and can be tailored to your group size and company goals.
Whether you’re looking to:
Strengthen team communication
Build cross-department collaboration
Reward employees with a creative day out
Or simply have some well-deserved fun —
The Corporate Cake Off delivers a memorable blend of learning, laughter, and leadership.
