TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please note once deposit is paid we will assume these terms and conditions have been read so please read them thoroughly before paying your deposit.
Deposit
A 50% deposit of the overall cost is necessary to secure your booking and is non-transferable to other days or orders. Without the deposit your booking is not secure within our diary and your order will not be processed. Please ensure all details of the cake design are decided upon before paying your deposit as the deposit secures that exact design and is non-transferable to a new design.
For stand and bouquet hire a further deposit is required. (see below).
Payment
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit or debit card and payment link, please note there is a charge to pay via payment link or via card in store. Receipt and confirmation will be processed once payment has been received.
If payment is not received upon receipt of your invoice then please ensure you check the slot is still available before sending your initial payment.
Remaining Balance
All remaining cake balances need to be cleared 7 days prior to the delivery/collection date in order for your cake to be processed and delivered on time. If final payment is any later than 3 days this will incur loss of deposit and non-receipt of cake. You can choose to pay the balance in full at any time. The Remaining balance becomes non refundable 7 days before receipt of cake.
Please note although we try, we are not liable to send reminders for this. We advise you set a reminder to ensure this is not forgotten.
Stand Hire
A refundable deposit is required for all stand and separator hires. This will be returned in full provided all hired items are:
Returned within 24 hours of the setup time
Returned in the same condition as they were delivered/set up
Return Instructions:
Returns must be made by appointment between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and this appointment must be arranged prior to your cake delivery day.
You may return items outside of these hours at your own risk. In such cases, all items must be securely sealed in a bag to prevent damage or contamination.
If items are returned late, additional hire charges will be deducted from your deposit for each day overdue. In cases of excessive delay, the full deposit may be forfeited.
Refundable Deposit Amounts:
Floral Stands & Gold Base Cake Stands: £150 per stand
Floral Separators: £50 per separator
Gold Separators: £150 per separator
Cupcake Tower: £100
If any hired item is damaged or returned with missing parts, the entire deposit will be forfeited.
Cleaning Policy:
All items must be returned clean and free of buttercream, cake crumbs, or decorations.
A £15 cleaning fee per item will be deducted if items are returned dirty.
Please ensure florals are wiped clean of buttercream prior to return.
Collection Option:
We may be able to collect stands or floral bouquets by prior arrangement. This service incurs an additional collection fee, which will be quoted based on location. Please speak with us directly to arrange this.
Refund Process:
Refunds will be issued within 48 hours of receiving and inspecting the returned items.
To speed up the process, we recommend providing your bank details in advance.
Cancellations
Cancellations Policy:
All cancellations will result in full loss of deposit, regardless of the reason or circumstances.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the collection or delivery date will result in loss of both the deposit and the remaining balance.
Stand hire fees and stand deposits are fully refundable in the event of cancellation.
Examples:
If your order is paid in full and cancelled 14 days before the due date, your deposit will be retained, but the remaining balance will be refunded.
If the order is cancelled 7 days or less before the due date, both the deposit and full balance will be non-refundable.
Please note:
Any cancellations that result in a partial refund of the remaining balance will incur a £25 admin fee, which will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Change of Date
Please note that requesting a date change after securing your booking with a deposit is considered a cancellation, and as such, will result in the loss of your deposit and/or remaining balance.
Date changes are subject to availability and can only be accommodated if our schedule allows.
If a new date is available and we agree to move the booking, the original deposit is not transferable to a different cake or order.
Liability
We do not accept liability for any damage or issues once the cake has been delivered, set up, and approved following our final quality checks. Similarly, for cakes collected from our premises, responsibility transfers to the customer once the cake has left our care.
Please ensure you thoroughly check your cake upon collection. Any issues must be reported before leaving the premises. If someone is collecting on your behalf, they must be trusted to inspect the cake and confirm everything is correct. We can provide transportation and handling instructions upon request.
Please check that all toppers, messages, and design details are accurate before leaving. If errors are not raised while still on-site, we may be unable to make corrections later.
Cake Stands:
If you are providing your own stand for a cake we are supplying, it is your responsibility to ensure it is suitable and stable. Should our trained team determine that the stand is unsafe or unsuitable upon arrival, we reserve the right not to use it.
Flavours & Fillings
All cakes are quoted as Khalid’s vanilla sponge with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream. Please see the flavour list for full descriptions of flavours. We provide a wide variety of flavours and fillings at an extra cost.
Tasters
We offer Vanilla and Jam cupcake taster and these need to be pre-booked in our website shop.
You can also book taster cakes via our website shop – these are available on a range of flavours.
We advise tasters prior to booking.
Allergens
We cater for most dietary needs; however, it is essential that you inform us of any specific dietary requirements or allergies at the time of enquiry. If no dietary information is provided, we will assume that no allergies or special requirements need to be considered.
Unless otherwise specified, all cakes contain eggs, dairy, and wheat. A full ingredients list is available upon request.
Delivery
We offer nationwide delivery and setup, with all delivery fees calculated based on the distance from our base in Birmingham.
Deliveries outside of Birmingham are subject to additional charges and may require a minimum order value.
Please note:
We do not deliver inside residential homes, high-rise buildings, or flats.
Customers are required to meet our delivery team at the main entrance of the building or property.

Collection
Cake Collection Guidelines:
When collecting your cake, please ensure there is adequate flat space in your vehicle (e.g., the boot or flat floor) to keep the cake stable during transport. Safe and cautious driving is essential.
For tiered cakes, we highly recommend opting for delivery by our trained staff to ensure safe handling and transport.
During hot weather, please make sure your vehicle’s air conditioning is switched on before collection and remains on for the entire journey.
Cakes should be refrigerated until 1–3 hours before your event, depending on the temperature. If you’re unsure, feel free to ask us for specific storage and serving guidance.
Collection Time Policy:
Please arrive at your allocated collection time. We allow a 15-minute grace period; beyond this, we cannot guarantee we will be available, and there is a risk you may not receive your cake.
We are not liable for missed collections due to late arrival.
Online Orders
Please read carefully before placing your online order:
Ensure all information provided at checkout is accurate and up to date.
If you would like to discuss colour matching to outfits or have specific requests, please contact us via WhatsApp with your order number. This must be done no later than 5 days before your collection or delivery date. Please note that all changes are subject to availability.
If details are missing from your order and we are unable to reach you, your cake will be prepared based on the original booking, using our best judgement.
Important Notes on Design:
Floral and buttercream colours are subject to availability. We will provide the closest possible match.
The information box on each cake product is for any specific notes or requests you’d like us to consider.
Please be aware that gold/silver florals are not included as standard and incur an additional cost.
Payments & Cancellations:
All online orders must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Cancellations will result in a charge of 50% of the total order amount plus a £25 admin fee, payable via bank transfer within 3 working days.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the collection/delivery date will result in full loss of payment, and the date cannot be rescheduled. This applies under all circumstances.
By completing your payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. All other standard terms and conditions also apply to online bookings.
Booking Website Cakes via whats app
- If you choose to book a cake that can be booked on our online shop via whats app you will incur a £15 admin fee for us to process the order
- With this option you will have the ability to pay a 50% deposit instead of payment in full – as explained in the terms above.
Mugs and Aprons
To maintain the quality and longevity of your apron, we recommend washing it in cold water and ironing it inside out.
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photo evidence. We’ll be happy to offer a replacement. Please note that refunds, exchanges, or store credit are not available for damaged items—replacements only.
Replicating Cakes
Please note: We do not replicate cakes exactly, whether they are from another source or our own past designs, due to copyright and creative integrity. We will do our best to recreate the look and feel of the inspiration you’ve provided, while incorporating our unique style and touches.
This also applies to cakes we’ve made previously—there may be slight variations in elements such as floral arrangements, colors, or finishes, depending on availability and artistic direction.
